Applying for a right-of-occupancy home starts with getting a queue number
First, apply for a queue number through Varke’s online service, then fill in a housing application.
- The home is allocated on the basis of queue numbers after the application period has ended.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- A queue number costs €9.20.
- The number is valid for two years or until you conclude a right-of-occupancy agreement.
- You can apply for a number on your own or together with other applicants.
- Each person can only have one valid queue number at a time.
You can also apply for a queue number by post
If you do not have online banking credentials or a Mobile ID, print out and fill in the application, pay the queue number fee and send the application to the Centre for State-Subsidised Housing Construction (Varke).
